The flights to Doha in Qatar and Narita in Japan have been canceled due to the grounding of Nepal Airlines Corporation's widebody aircraft. The corporation's widebody vessel Nine N-ALY callsign has been grounded since Friday. The ship was grounded after hitting the cart.

Kathmandu-Doha flight could not take place on Saturday as the ship was grounded. Due to the cancellation of this flight, the corporation has lost around Rs 3 crore. The number of passengers traveling to and from Doha used to be 240. The corporation has also postponed the Kathmandu-Narit flight scheduled for 10 pm on Sunday. The flight is scheduled to take place on Monday at 10:30 am.

The grounded nine N-AKW narrowbody ship has been released since Friday night. After two ships were grounded at the same time, the management of the corporation forced the nine N-AKW narrowbody ship to fly on Saturday morning.

But the engineers did not agree. "Management pressured the narrow body ship that had a reversal problem to fly yesterday morning. The technical team released the vessel last night after the monsoon ended,' said the employee.

A team of engineers released the ship at night. An employee informed that the narrow-body ship took off to Riyadh at 12:15 pm on Saturday. The flight to Delhi was canceled on Saturday due to this aircraft being grounded.
