An Air India engineer died after slipping and falling on the ground while repairing the aircraft. The police gave this information on Monday.
He said that the incident happened around 12 o'clock on Monday night. He said that on the night of November 6 and 7, Ram Prakash Singh was on duty.
According to the official, 'During the service of the plane at the T-3 terminal of the airport, he slipped and fell on the ground and suffered a head injury.
"Air India staff took him to Medanta Hospital and from there he was taken to Manipal Hospital where he was declared brought dead," a police official said. According to the official, further investigation into the incident is underway.
