Kathmandu,Nepal : A Nepal Airlines flight from Hong Kong turned tragic when a passenger, Deuman Limbu, 53, from Taplejung, was discovered unconscious aboard. He was rushed to Kathmandu Medical College (KMC) Hospital upon landing but was declared dead.
According to Ramesh Paudel, spokesperson for Nepal Airlines, Limbu’s relatives were already at Tribhuvan International Airport to receive him. The exact cause of his condition during the flight remains unknown.
“The passenger was handed over to his family and transported to the hospital, where doctors confirmed his death,” said Paudel.
Following protocol, KMC Hospital handled the emergency case. Authorities are investigating the incident to determine the circumstances leading to the passenger's death.
